Terms and Conditions

By placing and confirming an order with VIPluxuryride, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions for our services. We assume that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms listed here. These terms outline the rental periods, pricing, and the responsibilities of both VIPluxuryride and the user. For a seamless experience, we recommend reviewing these terms carefully before completing your booking.

General Rental

  1. The Standard Rental hours is 12 hours and this will be the basis for our billings.
  2. User of our vehicles must pay for every extra hour spent outside of the 12-hour booking period, by automatically moving to another round of 12 hours, until the car is returned.
  3. All vehicles received must be inspected and returned within an hour our receipt in case of any mechanical fault or air-conditioner faults.
  4. Where drivers are provided, the driver must be provided with accommodation when used overnight in a journey or within Lagos.
  5. The general pricing on our platforms applies within central city of Lagos only. Vehicles for journey outside of Lagos will attract additional charges.
  6. We will provide 15 litres of fuel for your ride to start the movement.
  7. Users will provide additional fuel where needed to complete the trip.
  8. For travels, that is disclosed, we will provide a full tank that will be added to your bills, while you provide additional fuel as required for the remaining part of the journey.
  9. Users that shall be required to place additional order if they will be extending beyond the initial stated time and money paid. Such new order shall be paid for to guarantee the complete trip.
  10. The driver attached to a ride shall be free to leave when the time has expired after giving a call or dropping a text message notice to the User.
  11. Where a booking is for 3 days or more, the driver may be replaced within the period. This is part of our security mechanisms.
  12. We require that Users should notify us within 12 hours of any items left or forgot in any of our vehicles, to enable return at Users cost, after which will no longer be liable for the missing item.
  13. A journey that goes outside Lagos is taken as a full-day booking (24 hours), even if they are back to Lagos same day.
  14. To ensure proper functioning and maintenance of our fuel pumps, all fuel replacement should ensure the fuel does not drop below a quarter tank as at the point of return to us.
    Users are responsible for good use of the vehicles and any damage when in their care.

Cancellation and Refunds

  1. Notice Period and cancellation penalties: All cancellations must be done within 24 hours to the date of use, and this attract admin charge of 10%. If the notice for cancellation comes within 12 hours, it will attract 20% admin charges while all notices that are not received 3 hours to the time of use will not be accepted.Those received between 3 hours to 11 hours before time of use will attract 25% admin charges.
    In all cases, if vehicle has been dispatched before cancellation notice, no refund will be made to the users as such cancellation will be taken as LATE CANCELLATION.
  2. Refunds due to Vehicle Fault: We undertake to refund the user where the vehicle is found to be faulty and the user reports the fault within an hour of receipt, on a further condition that the User agree to return the vehicle.
  3. Cancellation Process: when a ride is to be cancelled, Users shall submit a formal request via WhatsApp chat or by email or contacting the customer Care Agents on phone. User must also provide reasons for the cancellation, and the user will be taken to have the services received if cancellation is not properly communicated as prescribed.

Extra Charges

  1. Bookings done at Late Night and Early Morning hours will attract additional charges for inconvenience
  2. Extra Hourly time is at the discretion of VIPluxuryride. Users that have the vehicles beyond the specified time, will automatically move to another 12 hours charges.
  3. Late-Night Trips: Trips that extend into the night or start during late-night hours will incur additional charges.
  4. Use period for our vehicles – The rental closing time is 10pm after which our vehicles should have been parked. Vehicles used beyond this time are considered extra hours and will be charged extra and be communicate to Users.

Self-Drive

  1. Eligibility and Documentation: To qualify for Self-drive options, User shall make available to our Agents, the current valid driver license to verify the eligibility. This is open for few select vehicles.
  2. Repairs and Maintenance:
    Minor Repairs: User will be responsible for all minor repair work like battery issue, flat tyres, minor panel beating issues etc.
    Major Repairs: VIPluxury will be responsible for all major repair work. If the User intend to spend money on such repair, this must be communicated to us including the cost, and we may authorize this or not, depending on the circumstance.
  3. Payment and Agreement: Upon completing payment for a self-drive rental, User shall have obligation to comply fully with all road and traffic rules
  4. Breaking of Traffic Rules – Where a self-drive User has traffic offence, the User shall be responsible for the full legal and monetary implication or penalties as imposed by the government of law enforcement agencies.
  5. Identity Verification: The identity of all Self-drive Users shall be verified upon receipt of booking from them. This is a mandatory requirement before vehicles are dispatched. The minimum time to do this is 48 hours. So this should be considered when booking a ride.
  6. Geographical Limitations: Renters agree to operate the vehicle only within the geographical boundaries of areas specified in their booking form. Violations may lead to unannounced stoppage of the vehicle and forfeiture of the remaining unused booking.

Monthly Booking

  1. Booking Duration and Usage: When User reserve or book a vehicle for a monthly period, the booking is strictly valid for the dates specified in the booking and invoice. Unused days within this period cannot be carried over or extended beyond the specified end date. If you require the vehicle beyond the contracted period, additional days are subject to availability and will be charged at our standard daily rate.
  2. Driver Assignment: A primary driver will be assigned to you at the start of the booking. Our drivers typically work six days a week; therefore, your assigned driver will have one day off each week. During the monthly booking, driver changes might occur due to scheduling or operational needs.
  3. Driver Changes: We reserves the right to change the assigned driver as necessary for the overall wellbeing of the services. A change of driver will be notified to users.

Acceptance of Terms through Payment
User is automatically deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions when payment is made for the service, either in part or fully. 
Payment for booking therefore constitutes the customer’s explicit acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms, including specific liabilities or service terms detailed in this agreement. Customers are presumed to have read, understood, and consented to all these terms.
